If you like chocolate but don't want something too rich, this vegan marble cake recipe is perfect for you! The alternating layers of vegan chocolate cake and vanilla cake create a well balanced dessert. With strips of beautiful and fluffy, tender and moist chocolate cake and vanilla cake, swirled in a pattern that’s reminiscent of a zebra, this vegan marble cake is the ultimate vegan cake recipe to wow a crowd.



Marble cake is an absolute childhood classic; it consists of a pound cake style cake in two distinctly coloured batters that are swirled together, most often baked in a loaf tin. Despite the fancy marbled swirl design, it’s actually quite easy to make. I am not a fan of making intricate, layered cakes and fancy desserts – I am not a pastry chef and my time is limited and I am pretty sure some of you can identify here! But I still want my baked goods to look pretty and this vegan recipe is the kind of minimum-effort -> maximum-effect recipe I love.



Whoever invented marble cake is a genius, you get the best of both worlds AND they somehow taste better marble together than they do separately? If you love both vegan vanilla cake and vegan chocolate cake, then this version of a vegan marble cake is the recipe for you! Not only is it fluffy, juicy and super chocolatey, it could also be eaten as breakfast. This cake tastes like a milder (and less sweet) chocolate cake whilst being decadent enough for a special celebration.
