When you’re craving something sweet, but aren’t feeling the chocolate vibes, this vegan orange cranberry yeasted bread is perfect for you! It’s fluffy, hearty, and loaded with cran-orange flavour for a perfect holiday treat. This bread is fluffy with the right balance between sweet and tart, all plant-based, and with easy to find ingredients. The Yudane method yields soft and moist bread. It stays fresh longer than most other ordinary homemade bread. Yudane method is quite similar to Tangzhong (water-roux) method.
Cranberry orange bread has always been one of my favourite holiday treats. This loaf is a twist on my childhood favourite – it’s still light and flavourful despite being vegan. Warm, cozy slices of tender cranberry bread is hands down my favourite way to ease into the day. I also made this bread a little less sweet than the traditional bread, simply based on personal preference. It’ll still satisfy your sweet tooth.
Are you also a fan of sweet bread during this time of the year? Sweet breads are delicious for a more festive breakfast. But it also makes a great afternoon snack. Oh and of course this cranberry orange bread is also perfect to serve for dessert as an after dinner treat. This loaf is 1-2-3, easy peasy. Plus I enjoy orangey flavours in baked goods too. Does anyone else love that? Oranges really get me, maybe it’s the vitamin C, who knows.
