Snickers and Reese used to be, by far, my favourite candy bar. Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Caramel…what is not to love? In fact, I’m pretty sure I survived on 3 Snickers a day when I was 17. No other food was needed, not that I advise anyone to follow my imbalanced, teenage hormone filled diet. Do you notice a theme here? Chocolate + peanut butter. There really is no better combination of flavors. Now I’m an adult and have completely gotten rid of any candy cravings. Lol jk. Of course I still love to indulge in anything with chocolate and peanut butter, from peanut butter smoothie bowls to PB cup-inspired oatmeal to literally a spoonful of peanut butter with a square of chocolate. Now I’ve found another way to enjoy this beloved combo – snickers chia seed pudding!
Chocolate chia seeds, peanut butter, caramel and dark chocolate chunks. Secretly healthy and refined sugar-free too! Although this might look like dessert, it is definitely more snack or breakfast than dessert in my books. I’m a huge fan of snickers. It is my favourite chocolate bar! It is just so good. And this simple breakfast (or dessert) is a perfect way to enjoy similar flavours at home in just a few minutes. It is like a dream come true. I don’t think any chia pudding flavour can top this glorious peanut butter and chocolate masterpiece! It is seriously like eating candy, but candy you can feel good about.
