Sourdough Pumpkin Scones

In keeping with the autumnal vibes, I thought why not experiment with pumpkin flavour and when there is a chance to utilise sourdough discard, I jump right at it! These sourdough pumpkin scones are among those sourdough discard products that are easy to make, and that taste absolutely delicious and of course is a perfect Fall recipe.

I’m not usually a pumpkin spice girl, but give me something baked and flakey and all dolled up in a delicious glaze of warm, cozy spices, and I am all in. They smell like heaven, and they taste even better! Plus, while they're baking, your house will smell warm and cozy and utterly spectacular!

The pumpkin flavour is fresh and understated. Holiday time is always filled with so many foods and flavours that sometimes a simple, warm scone and a cup of tea or coffee is all you need. These scones are a wonderful and flexible recipe made from sourdough discard that is simple enough for everyday breakfast and elegant enough for your next brunch or high tea. Who’s joining me?
