This chocolate strawberry crumble cake aka maulwurfkuchen (German mole cake) is a single serve, vegan, healthier twist on a traditional German cake. This recipe is both a cake and a crumble, which is why I have included both in the name of this dessert/breakfast.



Loaded with fresh sweet strawberries and chocolate, this delicious recipe is the perfect excuse to have cake for breakfast! The best part of this crumble cake is the amazing flavour combination of the strawberries and chocolate. I long to live in a world where it’s socially acceptable to eat cake for breakfast.

Risotto is the perfect date night food, and this pumpkin risotto recipe is packed with comforting fall flavours thanks to the pumpkin-infused vegetable broth and the creamy arborio rice. Rich and creamy with hints of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg, you will love the cheesy flavour that the nutritional yeast gives it.

Sure, it’s great as pumpkin pie… but pumpkin risotto--now that’s something special. Plus this dish is incredibly easy to make, has an amazing depth of flavour, and just seems fancier than other side options.

What’s better than some chocolate to start the day! If you’re looking for breakfast or dessert, these buns are delicious any time of day! They are soft and the dough is filled with strawberry, chocolate, and cinnamon sugar. They’re like a fresh bite of summery goodness!



These buns are a spring twist to cinnamon rolls. The soft and fluffy bread dough bakes up golden and crisp on the outside and is filled with a spread made from butter, brown sugar and cacao, plus real chocolate and strawberries. The sticky filling is rich and totally delicious.


Each bun is then drizzled with a strawberry glaze that you could easily swap for chocolate ganache to make it super decadent.
