Today we’re making this cheesy baked orzo! It is warm and comforting but also touched with the flavours of summer. It’s the biggest hit and you won’t be able to stop digging in with a spoon! Just look at that stretchy melty cheese!

It’s hard to beat this easy one pan dish! It’s kind of like broccoli cheddar soup meets cozy weeknight casserole. It’s also well balanced, so darn easy, and so darn delicious. and the best part? This dish is all made entirely in one pan in under an hour.

But this one is simple but so good. The perfect weeknight family-style dinner to enjoy.

This vegan strawberry mousse is sweet, rich, creamy and light as air. It’s loaded with fresh strawberry flavour and has a pretty pink colour. This mousse is perfect in the summertime when strawberries are in season and it’s a wonderful way to use up a bounty of fresh summer strawberries!

Fruit mousse is traditionally made with lots of dairy and sugar, however, this strawberry mousse recipe is not only 100% dairy-free, but it is also, naturally gluten-free, free of refined sugar, additive/preservative-free, and quick to prepare!

It seriously is my go-to dessert because it tastes yummy, looks gorgeous and has been the star recipe every time I’ve served it. I’ve made over n over n over again ……gosh, I’ve even lost count of how many times I’ve made it now.

Buttery soft rolls with a hint of saltiness and a bit of sweetness, these sea salt butter rolls also known as Shio Pan, 塩パン are a perfect balance of flavours in every bite. If you don’t know, crispy salt butter rolls are a delightful bakery treat made from a soft dough that is rolled out thin, filled with a butter block, and then sprinkled with coarse salt on top. Shio pan was originated in Japan and has become very popular in Taiwan in the past few years. People would even line up in front of the bakeries before they open in order to buy shio pan.

These shio pan rolls are amazingly light, flaky, and most importantly, buttery. They are soft and fluffy on the inside, yet it packs a satisfying crunch with its crust and uniquely buttery and crunchy bottom. My recipe uses a dough starter and milk powder in the dough; this gives the bread a more complex flavor with softer and lighter texture.

Were they really salty? Not really. They are buttery. There is something in that hint of salt that makes the buttery flavor stand out in the bread, without being really salty. When the bread is baking, the salted butter that's rolled inside the bread melts and flows to the bottom, so the bottom part is "fried" in the butter. The butter eventually becomes brown butter and gives a delightful aroma to the bread. YUM!
